Wedding in an industrial venue on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen Harbor

Out on Holmen you’ll find Skabelonloftet; a hidden gem located high above the entrance to Copenhagen Harbor, on top of the historic B&W Shipyard, in the heart of Refshaleøen. Our bohemian-inspired and industrial location with the finest views sets the scene for a unique wedding, where you and your guests can enjoy this romantic event in a magical atmosphere. At Skabelonloftet, we are passionate about making your wedding day a memorable experience. We offer personal and experienced guidance, and together with our wedding planner we want to offer the best conditions and the best service for our brides and grooms, so you can celebrate love and enjoy the day to the fullest with your guests. We can help you arrange the ceremony wherever you want and have great experience with ceremonies on a canal cruise, in the garden at the foot of the loft and up in the Template Loft itself. We offer a Nordic-inspired three-course menu developed in close collaboration with you, served and presented by Skabelonloftet’s selected chefs and a special wine menu selected by Skabelonloftet’s sommelier. Our Evening Wedding Package is perfect for creating the atmosphere you want, and we will help make your dreams come true. Let’s create an unforgettable day together that reflects you and your love. We have space for both large parties with +120 people and the smaller and more intimate parties with the closest ones. You are very welcome to come by and see our beautiful venue in the middle of Copenhagen.

EVENING WEDDING IN THE TEMPLATE LOFT

Standard package (from 17:00-02:00)

  • Welcome bubbles in the garden or on the Template Ceiling with music (soundbox/live)
  • Romantic setting on plank tables with seasonal flowers in the rustic Template Room in the former B&W shipyard (multiple setups possible)
  • Delicious 3-course menu prepared and served by Skabelonloft chefs with wines selected by Skabelonloft sommelier
  • Wedding cake and dancing overlooking Copenhagen Harbor
  • Free bar and dance floor with disco ball and DJ
  • Night food
  • A wedding planner by your side throughout the process
  • Tasting before the big day
  • Venue rental (Template room, Studio 1, garden terrace)
    tables, chairs, crockery, sound box and final cleaning
  • Staircase guard and crane manager

Prices in the year 2025:

2.095,- DKK ex VAT per person for 60 – 100 guests

1.995,- DKK ex VAT per person for 101 – 150 guests

(15% index adjustment per subsequent year)

Overview of facilities

Conference room

Skabelonloftet has a large conference hall with room for up to 150 people. The hall is equipped with modern technology and is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of events. When Skabelonloftet organizes larger conferences, we rent extra halls at the foot of the loft.

Meeting rooms

The template loft has a number of smaller workshops that work perfectly for smaller meeting rooms. These rooms are also equipped with modern technology.

AV facilities

Our custom quote will include a standard AV package. In the Template Loft, this includes a projector (+ screen), sound system and flipchart. We rent all extended AV equipment as needed.

Wifi

Wireless internet covers the entire loft. The code is provided upon arrival.

Catering

The template loft offers a wide range of catering options that can be customized to suit your needs. You can choose everything from light snacks and corporate lunches to full dinner service and parties. Our suppliers are all selected based on high quality background, both in terms of produce, ecology and service.

Parking facilities

At Skabelonloftet there is space for more than 200 cars. Parking facilities are through the Easy Park app. The area code is 3735.

Refshaleøen er blevet et kulturelt og erhvervsmæssigt knudepunkt i København, hvor du og dine deltagere får fantastiske muligheder for at netværke og skabe nye forbindelser. Hele området er nemlig blevet hjemsted for en lang række innovative virksomheder og kreative iværksættere, så du vil være i godt selskab, når du holder din virksomheds seminar eller konference hos Skabelonloftet.

Fun and entertainment

Der er rig mulighed for at strække benene i pauserne på Refshaleøen, med et væld af mulige oplevelser og aktiviteter. Området byder på mange restauranter og caféer, sauna, havbad, streetfood, gallerier, bryggeri, kajakroning, padel, klatring m.m. 

Access / Stairs

The only access to the Template Loft is via our long iconic outdoor staircase. If you are afraid of heights or have difficulty walking, we refer guests to one of our fire escapes. On fire stairs, the steps are not perforated and there are landings along the way. There is always a responsible staircase guard among our staff who can help guests up and down from the ceiling at any time of the day or night.

Facilities

The location offers the following:

  • Floor to ceiling windows, overlooking Copenhagen harbor and the sea (The Template Room & Studio 1)
  • Double wooden shutters, overlooking Copenhagen harbor and the sea (The Template Room & Studio 1)
  • Wood-burning stoves (extra heating can be arranged)
  • Kitchen access
  • One glass and one wooden table, with the original drawings from the old shipyard. There are props in the Template Loft that are available for free use during the shoot.
  • Electrical outputs of 16 W + 220 V power, in the different studios.
